SikaLatex® Pro – High Performance Bonding Resin

SikaLatex® Pro is an aqueous dispersion of synthetic resins, packaged in the form of a milky liquid. It is added directly to the mixing water of cement mortars, thus improving the adhesion, flexibility and mechanical resistance of the mortars. Main applications – Improved adhesion of cement mortars on old or smooth surfaces – Concrete repairs and leveling mortars – Cement coatings and coatings – Waterproofing and protective mortars – Suitable for floors, walls and facades Properties / Advantages – Improves the adhesion of mortars on difficult supports – Increases flexibility and crack resistance – Strengthens the mechanical resistance of the mortar – Reduces porosity and water absorption – Compatible with all conventional cement mortars – Easy to use: mix directly into the mixing water General characteristics – Appearance: milky liquid – Base: synthetic resin in aqueous dispersion – Recommended dosage: according to technical sheet, generally 5–10% of the mixing water – Storage: keep away from frost and heat – Shelf life: 12 months in its original closed packaging Preparation of the support – Clean, healthy support, free of dust, oil and laitance – Lightly moisten the absorbent supports before application Method of application Add SikaLatex® Pro to the mixing water according to the recommended dosage. Mix thoroughly with cement and aggregates. Apply the mortar to the prepared support. Respect the curing and drying time depending on the type of mortar and climatic conditions. Packaging – 5 L, 10 L, 20 L cans (subject to availability)
