PPG SIGMADUR 550

PPG SIGMADUR 550 is a two-component aliphatic acrylic polyurethane finishing paint. Designed to provide durable and aesthetic protection, it ensures excellent color retention and high resistance to atmospheric conditions, ideal for marine and industrial applications. Main features Unlimited overlap, allowing layers to be superimposed without loss of performance. Excellent resistance to atmospheric conditions, for prolonged durability. Good shade and color retention even under exposure to sunlight and bad weather. Polymerization possible down to -5°C (23°F), suitable for cold environments. Resists splashes of mineral and vegetable oils, paraffins, aliphatic hydrocarbons and moderately aggressive chemicals. Recoverable after long atmospheric exposure, allowing easy maintenance. Good application properties, with smooth and uniform finish. Important note: Bright colors like reds, oranges and yellows may require multiple coats for optimal opacity, especially on primers of very different shades.
