SikaTop®-130 Flex DZ – Two-component flexible waterproofing mortar

SikaTop®-130 Flex DZ is a two-component, flexible, polymer-modified cementitious waterproofing mortar with high adhesion. Its formulation allows for lasting waterproofing on supports subject to slight movements, particularly suitable for hot climates and exposed structures. Main applications Waterproofing of bathrooms, showers, balconies and terraces Protection and waterproofing of concrete walls and sails Waterproofing under tiles (interior and exterior) Basins, foundations, buried walls Surfaces requiring some flexibility due to micro-cracking Properties / Advantages - Flexible mortar, resists micro-movements of the support - Excellent adhesion to concrete, mortar, masonry - Easy application by brush, roller or trowel - Durable waterproofing even under moderate water pressure - Compatible with tiling - Good resistance to thermal cycles and bad weather - Two-component product (resin + powder) ready to use General characteristics Appearance: • Component A: liquid resin • Component B: gray powder Consumption: 2.0–3.0 kg/m² depending on thickness Recommended thickness: 2 mm minimum (2 layers) Application: brush, roller, float Tiling commissioning: ~24 hours Impoundment / total exposure: 5 to 7 days Preparation of the support Clean, healthy, rough and moistened surface Eliminate dust, oils, laitance Fill cracks and gravel nests before application Method of application Mix the two components until you obtain a homogeneous paste. Apply the first coat to a damp surface. Let it set then apply a second layer in a criss-cross pattern. Protect from rain, wind and direct sunlight during drying. Packaging Kit (resin + powder) Color: gray Storage Store dry, away from heat and humidity. Shelf life: 12 months in original closed packaging.
